First-Year Seminars are designed to introduce students to the academic life of the university; they focus on intellectually engaging topics that reflect our faculty's commitment to helping students learn how to succeed in college. All First-Year Seminars count within UWG’s core curriculum, so they also set students on a pathway toward completing one's degree in a timely fashion.
