Through the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF), the University of West Georgia has received federal funds to help students who have encountered a financial need related to COVID-19.

Currently enrolled students are eligible to apply for a $750 grant payment from these HEERF funds. To receive the funds, students will be required to demonstrate exceptional financial need and must meet lawful presence requirements.

Students who are NOT eligible to apply for this grant payment include those who participate in the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) and those who received a HEERF grant between Thursday, Feb. 18, and Wednesday, Feb. 24.

To apply, complete and submit this application before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10. Applicants will be notified of a decision no later than Monday, March 22.
