Here at the pharmacy we provide medications from our formulary to help improve your health. The majority of prescriptions written by our providers are filled on site. We also have over the counter medication available to our students at no charge. We are here to help you with your medication needs. We are available to counsel you and answer any questions that you may have about your medications. If you have prescription orders from an outside provider, we can often times fill those here as well.

The pharmacy is managed by our registered pharmacist Rodger (Roddy) Miles. We also have our certified and registered pharmacy technician Erin Crews available to assist you.

    Do we accept insurance?

    Not at this time.  Our medication prices have been set at a discounted rate for our students.

    Can I transfer my prescription?

    Yes.  If we carry your medication in the pharmacy we will be glad to call your pharmacy for a transfer.

    What if I will be off campus when my refill is due?

    Depending on the medication we may be able to do an early refill with approval.  We can also have your medication(s) transferred out to your chosen pharmacy.  Your chosen pharmacy will need to call us requesting the transfer.  Our phone is number is 678-839-0647.

    Who can utilize the Health Services Pharmacy?

    Any student that has paid their health fee for the semester can utilize the pharmacy.

    How much do the medications cost?

    All of the medications have a discounted rate.  The majority are offered at $5.00 and can increase in price depending on the medication.  Students can call the pharmacy at 678-839-0647 to get the cost of a certain medication(s).

    Do you carry birth control pills?

    Yes.  the majority of our birth control pills are $15.00 for a one month supply.  If you are purchasing more than one pact at a time the cost drops to $10.00 per pack.  You may purchase up to 6 packs at a time.

    Do you offer the Depo Medroxyprogesterone injection?

    Yes.  The shot is $65.00 and can be administered by one of our nurses in health services with an appointment.  There is no cost for the administration of the injection.

    Do you have plan-B?

    Yes. We do carry both plan-B and Ella.  Both of these medications require a prescription from a provider.

    Do I need an appointment for over the counter medications?

    No.  We can service your needs for over the counter medications anytime during our business hours.

    I'm sick but I don't know if I need to see a provider or not, can you help guide me?

    Of course.  We will be glad to speak with you about your symptoms and refer you to a provider if we can't help you with over the counter medications.

    Do you carry medical equipment or anything other than medications?

    Yes.  We carry thermometers ($5.00), reusable hot and cold packs ($5.00), bandaids, pocket sized first aid kits, and pill splitters.

    What if I'm not sick but I want to stay healthy this semester?

    We offer multivitamins both with iron and without as well as a digestive support probiotics to keep you feeling ready to tackle the semester.

    Can I get immunization at the pharmacy?

    We carry some immunizations such as Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Tetanus, Varicella, and MMR.  These can be administered by our nurses here at health services by appointment.

    How do I refill my medications?

    We can take a refill request over the phone or when you come into the pharmacy.  If you want to request a refill over the phone, please call 678-839-0647.

    How long are your wait times?

    We do our best to be efficient.  Our average wait time is 5-10 minutes.

    How do I know if you carry my medication?

    We do have a limited formulary, so stop in or give us a call at 678-839-0647 to see if we stock your medication.  You will need to provide the name and strength of the medication you are inquiring about.

    I take my classes exclusively online.  Can I still use the pharmacy at health services?

    You would need to pay the health fee for the semester.  Once the fee has been paid, we will be glad to take care of you.

    Can I bring a prescription from an outside provider to your pharmacy?

    Yes.  If we carry the medication listed then we will be glad to fill your prescription.  We must have the hard copy of the prescription or have the provider call in the medication to 678-839-0647.  At this time we do not accept electronic prescriptions or faxes.
