Students are required to notify the Momentum Center of all address changes.  Changes can be made on Banweb or by completing an address change form in the Momentum Center.

University of West Georgia can release directory information such as name, address and telephone number unless the student completes a Nondisclosure form requesting that such information be withheld.  Contact the Momentum Center for details. Requests must be made and renewed annually by Sept. 15.

Student ID cards are made in the Wolves Card Office located in the University Community Center (UCC), Top Floor, from 8 am until 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

University of West Georgia students are provided a MyUWG e-mail account which will be identified in BanWeb as the preferred email account. The University considers this account to be an official means of communication between the University and the student. The purpose of the official use of the student e-mail account is to provide an effective means of communicating important university related information to UWG students in a timely manner. It is the student’s responsibility to check his or her email.

Undergraduate students must enroll in a minimum of 6 hours to receive student loans; Pell Grant and Hope Scholarship amounts will adjust to the hours enrolled (full-time is not required).

Graduate students must be enrolled at least half time in order to receive financial aid. Half time is 5 hours for regular graduate students and 6 hours for provisional and certification graduate students.
